Wear it high and close
Tighten the shoulder straps so the bag sits high and close to your back. The weight spreads better and it feels lighter.
Under-seat allowance
Most airlines allow one free bag under the seat, often 40 x 20 x 25 cm or 40 x 30 x 20 cm. Check the size check on this page and your airline's current rules.
